Miguel is a seasoned executive, innovator, and entrepreneur with or 25 years of experience in leading high-impact data science, AI, and analytics initiatives across industries such as Retail, Insurance, M&A, and Technology. He drives the vision and execution of the transformative idea that is in the name of the company "Mind Over Data": the combination of powerful algorithms with the brightest, most curious minds.

Known for his strategic mindset and as a regular speaker at Data Conferences, he is passionate about applications of Data in business and has built data-driven organizations from the ground up, partnering closely with senior leaders and boards to harness the power of AI to accelerate growth, efficiency, and profitability. As a pioneer in the industry, Miguel has delivered projects ranging from insurance fraud detection, predictive modeling and demand forecasting to AI-powered automation and intelligent business analytics, always blending cutting-edge AI with practical, real-world measurable business outcomes.

Outside of work, he has a passion for the latest AI advancements, History and Economics, often traveling to adventurous destinations around the world or just playing music in the studio surrounded by his collection of synthesizers. With over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business management, our CCO brings a sharp commercial lens to everything we do at Mind Over Data. Having worked across industries and led teams through change, growth, and transformation, he understands what businesses truly need in 2025 and beyond: not just data, but practical, actionable insights that drive performance; not just systems, but clarity and alignment across teams; and most importantly, the confidence to navigate an AI-driven future. As AI reshapes how organisations operate, compete, and grow, he brings a business-first mindset to help leaders make sense of the noise, spot real opportunities, and move forward with purpose.

At the heart of his approach is a clear belief—data isn’t just about numbers or dashboards. It’s about enabling better decisions, faster execution, and measurable results. He’s passionate about cutting through complexity and helping clients turn emerging technologies into meaningful, bottom-line impact.

Outside of work, he's a proud husband and dad to three awesome kids, and holds the almost-official title at home of CFO - Chief Fun Officer. You’ll often find him in the surf, on the golf course, planning the next family trip (usually somewhere with snow) — or enjoying a well-earned glass of red wine.
Pedro Ribeiro CTO Meet our Chief Technology Officer

Pedro is a technology executive with over 25 years of experience leading high impact product and platform strategies across global organizations. As CTO at Mind Over Data, he drives the design and delivery of secure, high-performance solutions, both cloud-native and traditional with a strong focus on scalability, resilience, and data integrity.

With deep expertise in architecture, business intelligence, legacy modernization, and cybersecurity, Pedro has led the development of mission-critical systems that process complex, high-volume data. His approach blends hands-on engineering with strategic vision, aligning technology with business outcomes and future growth.

He’s passionate about applying AI, analytics, and modern architecture patterns to real-world challenges — and fostering a strong engineering culture that empowers teams to innovate boldly.

Outside of work, Pedro is a proud father of two girls. He’s often found riding his motorcycle down scenic roads, reverse-engineering smart devices (sometimes even the neighbor’s), or disappearing into the wild with his dog for a digital detox.

Vasco Jesus CEO, MOD Europe Meet our Chief Executive Officer - Europe

With over 25 years of experience in data science, AI, and advanced analytics, Vasco leads the Mind Over Data office in Lisbon, where he drives client success across Europe and beyond. As both a strategist and a hands-on expert, he is renowned for helping businesses uncover the most effective AI solutions to solve real-world challenges.

Vasco has delivered high-impact AI and analytics projects across a diverse range of industries—including Gaming, Insurance, Legal, Call Centers, and even for one of the largest football clubs in the world. His work spans from fraud detection and customer analytics to pricing, predictive maintenance, and AI-powered decision support systems.

A passionate AI modeler and educator, Vasco is also an invited lecturer at NOVA IMS—home to one of the world's top-ranked master's programs in Data and AI. There, he shares his deep knowledge of AI modelling, CRM, and predictive analytics with the next generation of data leaders.

His style blends academic rigor with business pragmatism, making him a trusted advisor to boards and executives who want to adopt AI with confidence and clarity.
